i thought i was in for a treat, but the lobby smelled like something burning while i waited forever to check in. roaches crawled around my room as if they owned the place, and somehow no one offered me a complimentary treat for my troubles. i almost thought about leaving a good review, but, just couldn’t.

If you're on the hunt for local grub, be sure to hit up Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ just 0.5 km away – it's a tasty experience! The room I had was clean and comfy, and the front desk staff were a highlight, always ready to lend a hand.
First off, the whole place smelled like weed, which isn't exactly family-friendly. And don't fall for the 'free breakfast' advertising – granola bars don't cut it as a legit meal! Just call it a morning snack.

The room was adequate, but we faced significant staff issues regarding our service dog, including unwarranted fees. Cleanliness was a concern, with towels in short supply and dinnerware initially dirty.

The kitchenette was a lifesaver for late-night snacks! 😅 However, roaches were everywhere including my food, which was beyond gross. I checked out after just 2 hours!

We had a fun time exploring the Theater District! Caught some amazing shows and really enjoyed having a kitchenette for late-night snacks. Our service dog was welcomed, making our trip a lot smoother and more comfortable for the family.
My wife says that the rooms should undergo deep cleaning.

great location for exploring, but beware of service issues at night and limited breakfast options
Location is ideal but rooms require serious hygiene upgrades. Enjoyed kitchenette facilities very much though. The staff was friendly during the day, but evening support was lacking.

Had a great time with friends! We explored the Theater District and caught a couple of amazing live shows. The kitchenette was super handy for late-night snacks. The staff was incredibly friendly, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
Though the elevator situation was a bit concerning – it seemed outdated and not very clean – it didn’t overshadow our overall experience.

Just a smart choice for a holiday in Houston with best value for money ratio. The staff was pretty helpful when I asked about nearby restaurants, which made my dining choices easier. Avoid peak hours for a smoother check-in process.

Not a good choice for families
Had a serious issue with the cleanliness of the room. I was shocked to find roaches in the second room we were shifted to, that was unexpected and disgusting.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but I figured it would be decent for a stay.

The kids loved exploring the nearby Theater District, with so many shows to enjoy! The staff was passionate and attentive, particularly Zeya, who really went out of his way for us, making our stay comfortable and accommodating.
My wife says that the lobby could have more supervision during morning hours.

missingWrote a review on Apr 08friendly staffkitchen amenitiescleanliness concernspest issuespoor communication
Front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and willing to assist throughout my stay, which was a highlight amid many issues experienced. Unfortunately, the room had significant cleanliness concerns and pest issues, making it uninviting. A water outage occurred during my stay, severely impacting basic facilities without prior notice and minimal assistance from the staff. Despite the promising kitchen amenities, the overall environment felt neglected and unkempt, detracting from the experience.
